UPUA Issues Statement on the Death of Joseph Dado

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The University Park Undergraduate Association (UPUA) encourages students to remain calm despite news of the death of Joseph Dado. “The death of Joseph Dado comes as a complete shock to everyone on campus and our thoughts and prayers are with his family,” adds Christopher Nock, Media/Public Relations Director.
The UPUA is aware that recent developments will surely affect the perceived security of University Park students. “In light of recent news, I encourage more than ever that students practice safety precautions whenever they are out late.” Noted Christian Ragland, Student Life and Diversity Chairman. The UPUA promises to lead the student community in promoting safety and encourages people not to panic.
The UPUA encourages students to go about their day normally despite the news. “Students should go to classes as usual and work to move past this.” Noted Matt Smith, Chief of Staff.
The UPUA encourages all students remain calm, practice safe habits and to keep the memory of Joseph Dado in their hearts and minds.
